In Project Delta, participants are challenged to intellectually, physically and emotionally experience the significance of Environment, Health & Safety in the workplace. They leverage their learning to create a plan for developing a highly functional work environment.
Project Delta helped us reduce accidents and incidents 25% year over year for three years running. This program made a huge contribution to our EH&S leadership changes!Gerard Dufour, Alcan Inc.
Throughout the program, participants are given the opportunity to reflect upon their actions, to find solutions, to generate and implement ideas for future processes and to realize the importance of looking at the EHS leadership ‘big picture.’ They leverage their learning to create a plan for developing a highly functional work environment that is aligned with the principles of Environment, Health & and Safety.
Upon entering the world of Project Delta, participants step into a role within one of two automobile manufacturing companies that are competing to win a lucrative contract. Every participant discovers the pressure of his/her role, whether in management or on the shop floor.
As the competition heats up, productivity must be balanced with EHS concerns in a noisy, stressful and bustling environment.
Participants become totally immersed in the world of Project Delta. They experience the value of EHS, how EHS initiatives affect business results, and how EHS leadership is linked with reduced accidents and incidents.
As well, they are given the opportunity to reflect on their actions, to find solutions and to realize the importance of looking at ‘the big picture.’
